Previously created accounts and messages

New account creation and gameplay are not open yet. If you created an account or shared information previously, Aethera may continue to process account, security, saved Character or report data to operate, protect, support or close that service. Do not send passwords or another person's personal information in a report.

Public browsing

Home, the Syrion Field Guide, Aethera Stories and public project pages can be viewed without an account. Existing-account sign-in does not open gameplay. New account creation, public checkout and gameplay are not open yet. If you follow a Twitch or YouTube link, that provider receives your request and handles it under its own privacy notice.

Project requests

If you previously sent project information to Aethera, or separately agree to send it in future, Aethera may retain the minimum name, email, requested outcome, links and context needed to respond or honor that agreement. A coming-soon page does not create a service agreement.

Characters, media and original sources

Approved public Character material may include biographies, links, media, schedules, offers and timelines. Information about your account and submitted requests stays private unless you choose to share it. Aethera labels facts and opinions clearly and links to original sources.

Past purchases and accounts

Records of past memberships, payments, receipts and accounts may be kept for support, security or recovery. Keeping a record does not make an old offer available again. A return to the website is not proof of payment; Stripe payment records are used to confirm past transactions.

External media and providers

Aethera links to Twitch for live broadcasts and YouTube for Aethera-produced videos. When you open an external media link, that provider may receive information such as your request and browser details under its own privacy notice. Cloudflare and other providers process data as needed to deliver a service; Stripe does not provide Aethera with full payment-card numbers.

Technical data and retention

Page analytics use the page path, not URL query strings or fragments. They do not record what you type, pointer movement, private messages, browser fingerprints or sensitive profile details. A feature will explain separately if it needs information beyond this. Account, transaction and security records may be kept when needed for support, legal obligations or abuse prevention.

Guest account cookie

Account features may use a first-party cookie named aethera_guest to keep a random, pseudonymous guest identifier consistent across visits. It is HttpOnly, uses the SameSite=Lax browser setting and expires after one year. The cookie is sent with requests to Aethera and can connect a guest identity with a later signed-in account. Clearing it may disconnect guest activity from that identity. It is not a browser fingerprint and is not used to track you across other websites.
